Koushik Balasubramanian

Koushik Balasubramanian is a seasoned consulting professional with expertise in business transformation, risk management, and operations, bringing over two decades of experience across the telecommunication, media & entertainment, technology, and ITES sectors.
Currently, he is the Co-Founder of Urbanatoms Innovative Solutions Private Limited, where he drives innovation and business excellence. Previously, he served as Managing Director – Business & Risk Consulting at Protiviti, leading strategic risk advisory and operational excellence initiatives on a global scale.

Koushik holds a Post Graduate Certificate in Senior Leadership from XLRI Jamshedpur, an MBA in Corporate Finance, and has completed The Entrepreneurial Edge Programme at London Business School. He is also a certified Independent Director and ESG specialist.
CA Yogesh Chitnis
Yogesh Chitnis is a Chartered Accountant with over 12 years of global experience in process reengineering, governance, and risk management across diverse industries, including manufacturing, media & telecommunications, telecom infrastructure, pharmaceuticals, retail, consumer products, and metals & mining. He has worked extensively in India, the Middle East, and the UK, helping organizations enhance operational efficiency, ensure compliance with IFRS, and strengthen control frameworks.
With a strong background in managing large teams and fostering client relationships, Yogesh has led complex projects focused on optimizing business processes, regulatory compliance, and risk mitigation. He has held key positions at Protiviti India, KPMG India, Mahajan & Aibara, and Tata Consultancy Services, driving governance enhancements, process automation, and ERP-driven transformations.
A Chartered Accountant (CA) and Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA), Yogesh blends financial expertise with technology-driven solutions to deliver sustainable improvements. His passion lies in guiding businesses through complex risk landscapes while building resilient, future-ready organizations.
Mohammad Hashim Malbari
With over 20 years of experience in internal audit, risk management, and compliance, Hashim has worked extensively in the media and telecommunications sectors. He specializes in regulatory compliance, corporate governance, and operational audits, helping organizations strengthen controls and mitigate risks.
As a Director at Protiviti India Member Firm, Hashim led risk advisory, internal audit, and compliance consulting for major clients in the media and telecom industries. He played a key role in assessing financial and operational risks, implementing regulatory frameworks, and optimizing internal controls to enhance business resilience. His expertise in fraud risk assessment, process audits, and SOX compliance helped organizations improve governance and operational efficiency.
Before Protiviti, he spent nearly 12 years at Vodafone India Ltd, holding lead roles in compliance, credit controls, SOX and retail audit operations.
He holds a Bachelor of Commerce from Mumbai University and is recognized for his strategic thinking, project management, and governance expertise.
